Bubbling Brown Sugar
Placed into commerce by Judith Weston in the late 80s, this tetraploid is the only brown-eyed and edged
introduced flower in our garden. It is very fertile and took much pollen from a seedling we have out of ADMIRALS BRAID X SECRET SPLENDOR, the resultant bloom of which we are eagerly anticipating.
Starting in mid-season, this dormant plant presents 5.5-inch fragrant blooms atop 28-inch scapes.
It is less yellow than pictured.
